We all know that women are erratic and hormonal (moody), and men are consistent and stable (predictable). Men don’t have moods according to their monthly cycle and we certainly aren’t influenced by our hormones. If you believe that, then I have a unicorn that I’d like to sell to you.

I’ve worked with high end female athletes from teenagers to age group competitors for many years. There are some tricks you might like to know, and here’s one of them. There is a way for women to improve their training and fitness, based on their monthly cycle. This may not work for all of you, but it is certainly worth considering, especially if you take your fitness seriously.



Here’s the thing. If you are serious about your fitness, then keep changing things. Your body responds best to new challenges, so give this a go. There is nothing here that is detrimental, so the only outcome can be beneficial. In my experience, this is logical and most women I have worked with, can recognise it for what it is. A simple plan to keep your training relative to how you feel. In the meantime, keep trying new things and keep your serious training FUN.

In conclusion, us men can simply lift heavy weights, grunt, and sweat. Honestly, most of us can’t even write and talk at the same time. Women can be more subtle than that, train smart and keep well, multitask, and enjoy.
