Maxine Russell

Being in the fitness industry for around 17 years now, many things have progressed and changed from when I first started as a trainer and coach.

People have become more aware of how we can prevent disease and aging simply with the correct diet, exercise, and supplementation.

We no longer need to accept the fact that things like diabetes, cholesterol and heart problems are “genetic” and something which we have to live with.

Most of us including myself are constantly striving for ways to feel and look younger and I think the most important thing I have learnt over the years is that all of this truly does start from looking at our bodies from the inside and fixing any issues from the source.

This is where Valeo has come into not only my life but also the lives of all my clients and clients of The Gym.

Valeo has really made taking control of your health as simple as it can be, all you need to do is make the decision to become informed of what’s happening inside your body and they will literally do all the rest!

Regular blood testing, food intolerance tests, and supplementation with good quality supplements is vital to taking control of our bodies.

Our bodies are constantly changing with age and environmental factors and even mental stress can have and affect our hormones.

So it is standard procedure for myself personally and also something we recommend to all clients of The Gym, and require of all our PT clients, to have their bloods taken at least every 6-12 months.

As they say ignorance is bliss however taking control of your health, feeling strong and capable, and reaching your fitness goals whether they are aesthetic or functional, is honestly one of the greatest achievements in life.

We all want to be in control of our lives and the starting point for that is and always will be personal health.

Investing in your health should be everyone’s number one priority in life because as they say you only get one body and you should take care of it just the same way you take care of any of your other investments.

Thanks to Valeo this is now possible and within reach for us all.”
